July 11-15 July 25-29 August 8-12
Ages 6-16 9:00 - 2:00 $375 per week
All camps will be limited to 12 campers. Our horse camps are a terrific combination of horse-related and non-horse related activities. Campers get a sense of what it's like to own their own horse when we assign them one to take care of for the week. Campers will learn to care for, feed, groom, ride, and much more. They will receive high-quality riding lessons each day as well as; swimming, group games, crafts, vaulting, barn chores, and much more. Riders will be grouped according to age and ability.
We have been retraining off-the-track thoroughbreds (OTTBs) for 15 years and counting. Winswept riders, Chase and Macy Beach, competed their OTTBs Lucky Bucky and Chasing Moonlight (respectively) at the North American Youth Championships (formally NAJYRC). The Winswept team has competed OTTBs at the American Eventing Championships, USPC Championships, USEA Area 2 Championships, numerous international competitions, and many Area 2 USEA horse trials. 2016 was an exciting year for owner, Dawn Beach, and her students Macy Beach and Claire Lokken as they were accepted to compete in the Retired Racehorse Project's 2016 Thoroughbred Makeover in Kentucky. All riders made a great turnout with Dawn placing 8th in Dressage, Macy 8th in Eventing, and Claire 8th in showjumping.
